With Mother's Day right around the corner it's nice to sit back and remember why we do what we do. Our girls are our inspiration daily. That's why we were so excited when the penicle of stylish mom's called to find out more about our brand and passion for Hadleigh's--for us, it's all about family.

Hadleigh’s for women—or the H Girl—is best known for the bright colors and ruffles. I want every woman—whether they’re picking up in carpool, going to luncheon, or running to work—to feel happy and bright. We wear bright floral scarves with navy sheath dresses, or a Belinda (must-have) ruffle top with skinny white jeans, and blazer and the most comfortable Hadleigh’s slipper. Clothes and shoes can be beautiful, but if it's not comfortable it won't last long. That's why we wear every peice of clothing before it ever hits the floor--if we won't wear it, we won't ask you to wear it.

The H Man is modern and sophisticated. He loves to wear navy blue blazers, slim pants, and Hadleigh’s slippers. His favorite colors are navy, blue, white, and gray.

To say we look forward to our Italian excursions is an understatement and this trip didn't disappoint us. We started 2013 in the right slipper...with amazing food, friends, and did we mention FASHION?!

Planing for our new Fall 2013 Collection is no small feat, so lots of good Italian wine helps. Not that we need added inspiration--our minds are always focused on the next big thing. As you know, quality is of the utmost importance for us, so being able to touch the fabrics, smell the leather, and see face to face those who create the bespoke masterpieces is what drives us and brings such excitement for the year ahead.

Speaking of the year ahead--we can't wait to unveil all that we have in store. No pun intended of course--but since we mentioned it, don't forget to come by the store! New stuff is arriving everyday. Items we experienced as we visited small individual factories around Italy--which is what we believe fashion should be--an experience. It's not just about clothing (although we're SERIOUS about the clothing!), it's about the people behind the clothing. It's about the people IN the clothing. We also experieced the latest trends at the Pitti Uomo menswear show in Florence and from there we were on to the Tuscan countryside and Milan.

It's our job to keep you looking fabulous and it's the people behind the fabrics that take Hadleigh's over the top.

The result is beautiful, unique pieces that come together for the perfect visual aesthetic that is truly Hadleigh's own. As you know, High Fashion is always a year ahead so we've been dying to unveil our Spring 2013 line...stay tuned. You won't be disappointed.
