“Adnan Shaikh personifies the next generation of fine clothiers, as he is for all seasons, or more appropriately, for all continents. Hence, if your style is English, Italian or French, Adnan is, or should be, the clothier of choice. Adnan is unsurpassed for his ability and eagerness to understand the customer’s preferences—mine being British—and meet, if not surpass, the customer’s expectations. All too often the provider seeks to impose his preferences upon the customer, but such is not the case with the inimitable Adnan Shaikh, as he is the customer’s guide to excellence in clothing.” Clark Musser

“I have known, and shopped, with Ed and Gable for the better part of 10 years now and I am so excited that they ventured out on their own with Hadleigh’s. With the Shaikh’s you get that one on one personal service usually reserved for stars and celebrities holding Amex Centurion Cards in the living rooms of their own homes or chic hotels. Hadleigh’s prominence in this space will only continue to grow, in Dallas, Texas, the US, and around the world!” Marc Samuels

“Finally! Someone is rethinking Luxury in a way it should be: limited and exclusive. En esperant que la passsion de Adnan fera des emulles!” Frederic Gasser

"I have known Ed and his superb sense of style since we first met at the Ralph Lauren Store at Highland Park Village. His success at Stanley Korshak was certainly not a surprise. Hadleigh's is just a natural next step for Ed to build on his experience, network and natural “Man of Style” qualities. Both Gable and Ed have the ability to connect with people and create a personal style for each client that will insure the continued growth of this endeavor and provide a successful partnership for this elegant couple." "Ten years ago I met Gable at The Ralph Lauren Soho store & she immediately grasp my personal style of English Gentleman/ Hollywood casual(circa 1930's), early rustic Americana with a dash of 18th century seafarer; perhaps due to what I was wearing that day: a full length shearling overcoat, Savile row hacking suit, vintage Welsh scarf & brogues from Lobb. she supplied me with wonderful vintage garments & accessories. then Gable moved to Dallas, so I stuck with her as a client & she continued to send me the best Purple Label looks. When Gable left Ralph Lauren she suggested I work with Ed & this proved to be an excellent passing of the torch. He always went out of his way to find what I might be interested in. I do not ever remember any big fish getting away went after. it has always been a pleasure relentlessly pursuing sartorial obsessions with him. Honesty & a good sense of humor make the process far more rewarding & enjoyable. Having long standing relationships in countries around the world with tailors, shirt & shoe makers it was a bit of a stretch for me to plunge into their Hadleigh dreamscape, since I live in Virginia & am referred to as THE GHOST by Ed.....he & I have never met. But, this couple's enthusiasm & excitement is contagious; plus their commitment to high standards & to the customer being thoroughly satisfied cannot be matched.i have no desire to be on the best dressed list,  rather I  prefer to be dressed in the best & feel comfortable I am projecting an authentic expression of myself. I feel Hadleigh's is the place to achieve these results for a realistic price. the only complaint I have is they live in Texas & cannot custom make a bloody cowboy shirt. Simplicity & Elegance! " MM
